Beware!! This is a very cheaply made garment. When I received it new from the package, the stitching near the left pocket, that is single stitched, was already unravelled, and the left pocket zippers were dangling and barely stitched on. I hadn't even put the thing on yet! Very poor quality and zero quality control. AND, I lost $14.38 in the transaction just returning the garment! Don't waste your time or money.

This jacket runs big and it just fit nicely. It should taper a bit at the bottom to fit a person's curves. Instead, I look like a giant red balloon. I'm so self-conscious when I walk down the street in this ugly jacket because when I look down at myself wearing it, I look so big. This jacket got good critic reviews on blogs that review hiking and outdoor gear, but I noticed that these reviewers who are all men only reviewed the male version of this jacket. I dislike mine and wish I could take it back.

I found another jacket of the same size but an REI brand at REI today, and it fit perfectly. It tapered very nicely at the bottom and made me look thin.

For well and good raincoat! Especially in the tropical rain, kept dry. Columbia usually makes good jackets so this was a great buy in quality and price
